We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join a leading Life Science supplier that has achieved double digit growth every year since 2012.

The company supply 1.5 million products including Antibodies, Assays and Kits, RNA, DNA, ELISA Kits and Reagents.

As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for growing the sales of the company.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Sales Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Manage, mentor and train a team of 3 sales people across the UK
2. Manage your own territory of Cambridge, Oxford and London, attending 3-4 client facing visits per day
3. Working together with the marketing team to ensure that their work maximises sales
4. Develop a comprehensive sales plan to increase key account sales and other customer sites which have potential for growth across the whole
sales team

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Sales Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Science subject Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or equivalent

2. Proven successful industry experience in a senior Life Science sales role and either sales management, team leader or mentoring / training
experience

3. Happy to manage your own territory whilst managing a sales team along with a full UK driving licence
