We are currently looking for a Genomics Sales Representative to join a leading Global leading manufacturer to establish, develop and manage the South West territory with key areas of Exeter, Bristol and Reading.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Genomics Sales Representative will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Building the brand name for this manufacturer that are currently breaking in to the Genomics world. The role requires a real hunter to find and win
new business for the company

2. Produce a detailed business plan and visit management activity in line with company strategic targets for assigned customers and territories

3. Manage existing accounts within the Genomics space, develop high level relationships with the customers from procurement to key scientific staff
and use this to develop strategies for customer development

4. Answer any technical support / application questions from internal / external customers

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Genomics Sales Representative - South West we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Genomics, Molecular Biology, Immunology or Life Science subject a Master's degree is an advantage

2. Proven industry experience in Genomics sales in to the Academia, Pharma and Biotechnology customer base, developing new business and a solid understanding of sales skills including hunting, prospecting, qualifying, closing and growing accounts is preferred

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Genomics or Next Generation Sequencing along with laboratory or process experiences. A full UK driving licence is essential
