We are currently looking for a Japanese Speaking Project Manager to join a Global Biopharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. You will be responsible for Project Management of Slough based projects in partnership with Japanese customers.

Fluency in Japanese and English is essential to this role as you will be required to speak with Japanese customers face to face, over the phone and by email.


Your duties as the Project Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Lead project execution after deal closure with ultimate accountability for project initiation, planning, execution and control (cost, time, quality and risk)

2. Conduct internal and external Project Team Meetings to ensure that all stakeholders and the customer are working in accordance to the agreed to Project Plan.

3. Represent both Japanese and other InternationalCustomer Projects within the company as well as being the Customers' advocate on-site.

4. Effective Internal and external communication of project status and risks ensuring stakeholders accountability and awareness.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Project Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Science or Engineering discipline (or equivalent experience) along with experience managing projects within a regulated environment.

2. Proven industry experience in Biopharmaceutical environment will be highly advantageous.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience working to GMP guidelines is essential to this position.

4. Written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese.
