An exciting opportunity for a Project Engineering Manager to join a leading company based in the North Wales area has become available. As the Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of the sites CAPEX investment programme, and build the project management team ensuring adequate resources are available to deliver the capital plan.


Your duties as the Project Engineering Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will work with the operational managers and site leadership team, to develop the annual CAPEX budget by defining and prioritising the live project list.

2. As the Project Engineering Manager you will maintain the Site Master Plan, the organisation's five-year strategic development plan for the site, which in turn feeds the long-range forecast of CAPEX spending.

3. You will ensure Project Engineers hand over completed projects to key stakeholders including, as a minimum, operations, quality and maintenance teams.

4. You will operate as part of the sites engineering leadership team, setting strategy in line with corporate guidance and Good Engineering Practice(GEP).


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Project Engineering Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in an Engineering related discipline or equivalent with professional experience with a recognised industry association i.e. IChemE or ISPE.

2. Proven industry experience in leading large portfolio projects over £20m within a sterile pharmaceutical environment, as well as managing a team of employees and contractors to ensure compliance with site regulations.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience in process safety, HAZOPs, GMP, EHS regulations, and Project Management tools.
