We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager join a family owned worldwide leader in laboratory automation company.

Founded in 1925 they are a EU3.1 billion company and this is a very exciting time to be able to join the team.

This company have two sides to their business - Automation both factory and process along with their Industrial Education business.

As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for their Technology for Life Sciences side of the business.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Business Development Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1.Develop and manage the sales on the North UK Territory Birmingham, Leicester up to Scotland with designated strategic accounts

2.Secure the sales of the automation equipment including liquid handling systems in to Medical Device and Lab Automation companies

3.Formulate realistic annual and medium term business plans for strategic accounts and specialisation area

4.Represent the company at conferences and exhibitions on territory

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Business Development Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering subject

2. Proven industry experience in Laboratory Automation, Liquid Handling, Robotics, Capital Equipment
or similar sales or business development

3. Knowledge and experience of Replicating OEM's/Special Purpose Machine Builders/End User
Manufacturers with emphasis towards automation solutions incorporating electrical / mechanical
drives, PLC programming knowledge
