HRS are currently looking for a Field Application Specialist - Cell Therapy & Stem cells to join a global Life Science company. This roles is home-based and will require 60% travelling within the UK, France and BeNeLux. As the Field Application Specialist - Cell Therapy & Stem cells you will be a technical expert on the stem cell portfolio, including pluripotent stem cells, T-cells etc. You will provide pre and post sales product support, leading seminars and demos and run trainings. This is a great opportunity for a PhD graduate or scientist looking to use their expertise in stem cells in a more commercial role or Field Application Specialists that are looking for a new challenge with international exposure.


Your duties as the Field Application Specialist - Cell Therapy & Stem cells will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Providing technical advice, troubleshooting and training customers on the cell therapy and stem cell portfolio through training sessions, meetings, workshops and demos. Your territory will include UK, France and BeNeLux.

2. Dealing with various customer enquires and identifying customer needs remotely or on-site. Your main client will include translational centrers, biotech, pharmaceutical companies, academic research institutes and hospitals.

3. Collaborate with R&D and product management team to identify gaps in the portfolio.

4. As the Field Application Specialist- Cell Therapy & Stem cells you will attend conferences and exhibitions in order to develop technical knowledge and keep up to date with new trends.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Field Application Specialist - Cell Analysis & Stem cells we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant BSc or MSc in a Sciences subject such as Biology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or Life Sciences. A PhD is preferred.

2. Proven experience in working within the translational stem cells or immunotherapy field is essential. You will be fully competent with culturing and maintaining human pluripotent stem cells and/or T-cell culture.

3. You will need to be commercially aware and happy to travel extensively within the UK and Europe.
