We are currently looking for a Senior Researcher in Cell Line Development to join a leading company based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the Senior Researcher in Cell Line Development you will be responsible for contributing to advancing cell line projects to support the generation of therapeutic biologics.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Senior Researcher in Cell Line Development will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will perform stable cell line development projects which will involve, but not be limited to, constructing expression vectors, selecting clones, cryopreservation and maintaining cell culture.

2. As the Senior Researcher you will carry out expression and quantification of recombinant proteins within a GLP laboratory.

3. You will prepare presentations and communicate the results to the team as well as liaise and coordinate CLD projects with internal teams.

4. Optimising, evaluating and implementing novel methods and technologies for process improvement will be among your responsibilities.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Researcher in Cell Line Development we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant Masters in a Life Sciences related subject such as, but not limited to, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology.

2. Proven industry experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical organisation carrying out techniques such as mammalian cell culturing and developing stable cell lines is essential your application.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with automation in cell culturing and product analysis would be beneficial to your application.
