We are currently recruiting for a Regional Account Manager to join a leading Molecular Pathology and Tissue-Based Diagnostics company to manager their South UK territory. This will cover Birmingham, Leicester, London, Cambridge, Oxford, Kent and Bristol.

Their technology is the world's first multiplex fluorescent and chromogenic in situ hybridization platform capable of detecting and quantifying RNA biomarkers in situ at single molecule sensitivity.

It is an ideal platform for developing the next generation of tissue-based companion diagnostics. They are committed to continued innovation to bridge the gap between basic research and clinical medicine to fulfil the promise of personalized medicine.

As the Regional Account Manager - Molecular Pathology you will be responsible for:

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Regional Account Manager - Molecular Pathology will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Managing the South UK territory, selling in to Pathology labs and developing the Academic and Biotech accounts

2. Put together a business development strategy in order to win new accounts

3. Conduct both technical and promotional seminars for both current and future customers

4. Provide after sales technical support

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Regional Account Manager - Molecular Pathology, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Science discipline

2. Five years minimum experience in field sales selling reagents or technology platforms and knowledge of the Gene Expression or Functional Genomics market

3. Ability to travel across territory and to the US when needed
