We are currently looking for a Field Service Manager to join a leading Medical Devices Manufacturer to manage a team of 6-8 Field Service Engineers across Yorkshire, North East & Scotland.
As the Field Service Manager you will be responsible for providing leadership to ensure best in class customer service is strived for.
The right Field Service Manager will have led / managed a Field Service Engineer team previously, and be comfortable striking the balance between team KPI's, Developing new strategies, managing customer expectations and spending time on the tools when needed.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Field Service Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Manage and lead a team of Electro-Mechanical Field Service Engineers providing coaching and guidance whilst ensuring service delivery targets and customer satisfaction is met.

2. Encourage and facilitate positive customer experiences even when equipment may not be able to be fixed on time or on the spot. Drive a culture of solution finding and resolving issues.

3. Using your own Electro-Mechanical skills to lead from the front when need be on planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of Medical Devices/Equipment on customer sites or on reactive maintenance call outs.

4. Build and maintain a strong ability in your team to identify sales opportunities across Medical Devices with customers as well as build strong relationship's with the internal sales support teams.

5. Actively review account plans and strategies keeping on the forefront of ways to implement improvements across your team.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Field Service Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant qualifications in an engineering discipline - HNC minimum preferred

2. Proven industry experience working within Medical Devices and Field Service type roles

3. Experience leading or managing teams of service engineers highly desirable or a what could be deemed a transferable skill set
