Hyper Recruitment Solutions (HRS) are currently searching for a Sales Specialist - Next Generation Sequencing to join a global life sciences company. As the Sales Specialist - Next Generation Sequencing you will be responsible for the Scotland territory and sell to academic, research and healthcare clients in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Dundee and Aberdeen.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Sales Specialist - Next Generation Sequencing will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Sell next generation sequencing equipment and products to academic, research and healthcare organisations across the Scotland territory with key accounts located in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Aberdeen and Dundee

2. Lead tender processes from pitch to deal closure

3. You will target senior research and academic leads who will be key decision makers in sales processes.

4. As the sales specialist - next generation sequencing, you will collaborate with the marketing team to support targeted commercial strategy for the Scotland territory

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Sales Specialist - Next Generation Sequencing we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Degree educated in Life Sciences, Genetics, Biochemistry or Molecular Biology ideally at MSc level and above

2. Previous laboratory experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), PCR, qPCR or Nucleic Acid extraction

3. Determined, strong attitude towards a performance related sales role, currently live on territory or happy to relocate
