HRS are currently searching for an experience PR and Communications Manager to join a Medical and Life Science Research Organisation with offices in the South East. As the PR and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for effectively communicating the internal and external strategies, and also managing the PR and Communications media output with the aim to build reputation and demonstrate the organisation's impact.

This role can be based in Stevenage or London, with some home-working.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the PR and Communications Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Create compelling stories for ongoing projects and work with PR agencies to ensure these gain coverage in publications and audiences across the Life Science, Pharma, Medical Research Charity, Government and Biotechnology markets.

2. Manage our clients profile across a variety of media channels including Press, LinkedIn, Journals and more, to build reputation.

3. Ensure internal communications are kept up to date, this include key information on activities, initiatives and projects with UK and Global collaborations.

4. As the PR and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for corporate communications materials such as annual reviews, articles, reposts, blogs and more.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the PR and Communications Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in either is PR, Marketing or Science subject such as Biotechnology, Biomedical, Biology or Life Science. A CIM is advantageous.

2. Proven industry experience in PR or Strategic Communications position within the Life Science, Biotech, Pharma, Medical or Healthcare industry.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience working with PR, Press, and KOL's is needed.

4. Creativity is needed, with the ability to think outside the box and identify / create stories out of projects
