Are you a QC Scientist that is looking to take a step out of the lab? Are you experienced with QC documentation? Do you have experience of line managing a team? Then please apply for this Senior QC Officer position!

We are currently looking for a Senior QC Officer to lead a team in the reporting and regulating of QC activities within a leading Gene Therapy company based in the Oxfordshire area.


Your duties as the Senior QC Officer - will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Responsible for the performance management of a team of QC officers; providing development opportunities, managing poor performance, recruiting and building a strong team.

2. You will handle all QC documentation including but not limited to CAPA's, OOS Investigations, Deviations and GMP related documentation.

3. Over-see the preparation of assay performance reports and product reviews as well as the collation of data points from assay controls and product data to trend results, capture metrics leading to assay improvement and optimisation.

4. Management of departmental quality records; ensure records are progressed to agreed timelines and provide monthly departmental metrics.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior QC Officer - we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a life sciences degree in addition to experience of pharmaceutical regulated documentation.

2. Proven industry experience within a QC testing laboratory in a GMP regulated environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience of line managing people.
