We are currently looking for a QC Microbiologist to join a leading Cell and Gene therapy company based in the Oxfordshire area. As the QC Microbiologist you will work on shifts and be responsible for testing and reporting of Raw Materials, Intermediates and Finished Products.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the QC Microbiologist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Your role will include maintaining a stock control of QC test materials for use in the laboratory and production areas.

2. As the QC Microbiologist you will be involved in testing the manufacturing environment and stability samples to enable product release.

3. You will be involved in documentation and making adjustments where possible.

4. Your role will also include providing support to the QC Manager by training new staff.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Microbiologist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Sciences related subject (Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Biology etc.)

2. A working knowledge and practical experience within a laboratory setting carrying out Microbiological techniques.

3. Knowledge and understanding of GMP requirements within a pharmaceutical environment and familiarity within a clean room facility would be beneficial to your application.
