HRS are currently looking for a Business Development Manager - Analytical Services to join a leading analytical service provider based in Yorkshire area. As the Business Development Manager - Analytical Services you will be responsible for the development of new business opportunities and managing exciting accounts. This is a great opportunity for a successful sales person with a background in chemistry and great knowledge of GMP. This is a home-based position (Midlands or North of UK).


Your duties as the Business Development Manager - Analytical Services will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Managing existing accounts as well as having a strong hunter mentality to identifying and developing new business to increase revenue.

2. Support with Marketing activities including the organisation and attendance of marketing events.

3. Represent the business in a professional manner, acting as the principal point of contact for customers and business associates.

4. Ensure that the CRM system is kept up to date and monitor that the KPIs are met.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Business Development Manager - Analytical Services we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. A BSc, MSc or PhD in a chemistry including Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry ect.

2. Proven experience in Sales or Business Development, promoting analytical services or analytical instrumentation or related products/services.

3. A good knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical industry.
