We are currently looking for a Tech Transfer Team Leader to join a leading company based in County Cork. As the Tech Transfer Team Leader you will be responsible for assisting in the effective and efficient running of the Vaccine Technology Transfer team and you will be a member of the wider Vaccine leadership team.


Your duties as the Tech Transfer Team Leader will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will demonstrate a high level of technical leadership, collaboration, and coaching to facilitate the team in becoming a high performance organisation.

2. Develop an effective, focused and strong team by understanding: their abilities, unique contribution and broadening their skill set to be agile and prepared for any future business requirements.

3. Adhere to highest standards for Compliance (Quality and Safety), implement corporate standards and liaise effectively with global groups. Ensure compliance with site EHS policy, cGMP and other business regulations and participate in risk assessments, audits and incident investigations

4. Provide leadership and deliver technical excellence for the technology transfer of vaccine drug substance processes.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Tech Transfer Team Leader we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Biotechnology or Engineering discipline along with significant experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industries.

2. Proven industry experience in a front line supervisory role ideally within a tech transfer environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with vaccine manufacturing from a microbial platform will be highly desirable.
