HRS have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and highly successful Business Development Manager to join a leading CDMO company. As the Business Development Manager - Europe you will be based in UK and you will be responsible for developing sales strategies to maximise sales and revenue in South and Central Europe. You will be promoting a broad range of development services across the biopharma industry. This is a home based position with up to 50% international travelling.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Business Development Manager - Europe will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1.Develop strategic and tactical plans for European territory to develop new business, achieve growth and maximise revenue targets. Maintain a good knowledge of early stage drug development.
2. Establish relationships with new clients, ensuring sales are consultative to meet the customers needs. Identify and prospect through various methods such as calling, face to face meetings, networking and attending conferences.
3. Work with internal stakeholders group with Product Management, Technical Support, Sales, Operations, Legal and Finance teams to address customer requirements and ensure territory plans are met.
4. Generate and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track customer contacts, proposal generation and customer specific information
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Business Development Manager - Europe we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1.Relevant BSc and/or MSc and/or Phd in Biotechnology, Life Science, Biology, Biochemistry etc. Lab experience within a GLP or GMP environment is ideal.
2.Experience in a commercial role such as Marketing, Business Development, Sales etc. within a contract testing marketing.
3. A good understanding of early stage drug development in focused therapy areas including Monoclonal Antibodies, Viruses and Vector products.
