Equipment Engineer

An amazing opportunity for an experienced Equipment Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company based in the County Durham area. As the Equipment Engineer you will be responsible for providing engineering support on all equipment the Asset Engineering team are assigned to.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Equipment Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. To work protectively and reactively supporting the engineering project and maintenance teams with the aim to maximise the utilisation, performance and reliability for on-site assets/equipment.

2. Provide Engineering support on the installation and introduction of new equipment from specification to acceptance.

3. Deliver bespoke engineering solutions for laboratory and main plant issues including providing commissioning support for new projects.

4. Provide training and guidance when required to colleagues and team members.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Equipment Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree or qualification in an Engineering discipline - HNC/OND - Electrical or Mechanical

2. Proven industry experience in a highly regulated GMP R&D or Manufacturing environment (Pharmaceutical, Food, FMCG, Biologics)

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Pharmaceutical, Bio-pharma or similar technology / equipment.
