We are currently looking for a Antibody Development Scientist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Antibody Development Scientist you will be responsible for supplying efficient formulations for all stages of the monoclonal antibodies development process from Toxicology studies to Phase 3 Clinical studies


Your duties as the Antibody Development Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Antibody Development Scientist you will be performing experiments and analysis, enabling non-clinical or clinical studies and supporting preformulation laboratory activities which include laboratory set-up and provision of technical resources.

2. You will be assisting or authoring formulation protocols, reports and supporting documentation, based on an understanding of biochemical or physical degradation routes of antibody-derived molecules.

3. You will be using Biochemistry techniques including Biological Formulation, Protein Engineering, SDS- PAGE and ELISA to help with Antibody Development.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Antibody Development Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Biotechnology, Biochemistry or equivalent.

2. Proven industry experience in working on the formulation of antibodies within a GMP accredited laboratory.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Antibodies, Proteins and Biological Formulation.
