An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Reliability Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical manufacturing company in the Greater London area. As the Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable programmes to reduce reliability risks. The right Reliability Engineer will have experience tracking production losses as well as maintenance costs as well as implementing thorough processes to analyse and reduce those costs.


Your duties as the Reliability Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Develop and implement reliability programmes in line with cGMP / GEP regulations helping to lead the manufacturing operations to world class asset management.

2. Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations and develop engineering solutions to reduce repetitive failures and other problems that adversely affect plant operations.

3. Guides efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems.

4. Be involved in the design and installation stages of projects for new assets and modification of existing assets to ensure on-going reliability. Works with Capital Projects to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations and participate in the final check out of new installations.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Reliability Engineering we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in an engineering related discipline or a Chartered Engineer.

2. Proven industry experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a heavily regulated industry, as well as hands on experience as a Reliability Engineer.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with purified water systems, quality management systems, engineering change control systems, compressed air systems and reliability tools.
