We are currently looking for a recent graduate on a 12 month contract that can work as a Lab Informatics Systems Technologist within a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Lab Informatics Systems Technologist you will be responsible for the delivery of major projects to build workflow template(s) which can be used for data recording of specific laboratory tasks.


Your duties as the Lab Informatics Systems Technologist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Lab Informatics Systems Technologist, you will be helping to build the clients expanding informatics platforms.

2. You will be using a variety of different programmes/ software's which will include using the Open System Computer (OSI) model, laboratory information management system (LIMS), PI Data, LMS system, scientific data management system (SDMS) to help support the delivery of major projects within a pharmaceutical setting.

3. As the Lab Informatics Systems Technologist, you will be responsible for building a suitable workflow template which you will be in charge of testing, troubleshooting and developing it.

4. You will be working with peers and managers to gather local knowledge, manage requirements, build workflow templates and test solutions, then formally launch those solutions into productive use.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Lab Informatics Systems Technologist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent.

2. Proven experience working Process Control and using the OSI model.

3. Great teamwork skills and good communicator.
