We are currently looking for an Analytical Scientist to become a Technical Specialist at a leading Global Life Science's company based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the Technical Specialist you will be responsible for the analysis and testing of biopharmaceutical products in a regulated GMP environment.


Your duties as the Technical Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be working closely with the Project Manager and Study Director on the performance of technical work involving projects and studies.

2. Your role will include developing, improving and validating analytical procedures as well as interpreting and analysing the results obtained from relevant studies.

3. You will perform analytical tests including, but not limited to, ELISA and HPLC on biopharmaceutical products while adhering to GMP standards.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as an Technical Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology etc.) as well as proven industry experience in a Biopharmaceutical or Pharmaceutical organisation.

2. Experience carrying out analytical techniques such as, but not limited to, HPLC, ELISA, cIEF, SDS-PAGE, Gel-Electrophoresis in a GMP environment. In addition to this, previous experience carrying out protein analysis and working in a GLP laboratory may be beneficial to your profile.
