We are currently looking for a Clinical Research Scientist (Consultant) to join a leading Life Sciences company based in the Berkshire area.

As the Clinical Research Scientist (Consultant) you will be responsible for providing both scientific and strategic input into all phases of the approved clinical development programs within the Neurology Therapeutic Area.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Clinical Research Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Clinical Research Scientist, you will be responsible for the review of existing literature to compile a tabulated, organised reference file with an executive summary.

2. You will be answering specific questions from the required searches and conducting a thorough review of all existing Literature, Scientific Information & Regulatory findings to create an executive report.

3. You will provide input into Clinical Development Plan and Design of Clinical Studies.

4. You will support the Medical Director in development of content for scientific and advisory meetings.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Clinical Research Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Medical or advanced Degree in Life Sciences (PharmD / PhD).

2. Proven therapeutic expertise in Neurology or at least 4-6 years of combined Clinical / Pre-Clinical research experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with biostatistics, GCP, and regulatory requirements for clinical studies.
