A fantastic opportunity has become available for a CAD Draughter to join a global pharmaceutical business based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the CAD Draughter you will be responsible for the day to day management of As-Built drawings and services information using AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and Vault Professional within Pharmaceutical Group and our Independent Associated Companies (IAC's).


Your duties as the CAD Draughter will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Manage as-built record drawings and associated schedules to ensure their current As Built status is maintained.

2. Administer the operation of the company's AutoCAD & Vault Drawing depository system, ensuring that the system is secure in operation and maximised in its use.

3. Provide drawing office service to the group and its IAC's. Provide conceptual and feasibility design work on projects in conjunction with Project Engineers and Project Managers.

4. Assist in the development of drawing office procedures as and when required. Assist in retrieval of As Built records during Regulatory Inspections and Audits. Manipulation and Transfer of As Built data to external Consultants and Suppliers.

5. Supervise contract draughtsman as and when required.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the CAD Draughter we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. The successful candidate will ideally hold and HNC or HND in an Engineering or Building Services related discipline.

2. You must have demonstrable knowledge of AutoCAD (2015-2018), Autodesk Inventor and Vault Professional.

3. Previous experience working within a Drawing Office environment (preferably M&E), Consultancy or Contractors. Passionate about customer delivery and satisfaction.
