We are looking to recruit an Optical Scientist as a team member to support the research, development and deployment of advanced diagnostics, imaging systems and sensors for experiments at AWE and at facilities abroad. These include specialised x-ray, neutron and plasma imaging diagnostics and fibre optic based sensors at the forefront of technology.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with hands on experience working with imaging systems and/or opto-electronic devices who enjoy carrying out experiments and are looking to further their career.
To be considered for the role, you must have a degree in Physics, Mathematics or equivalent science based experience.
Candidates must be willing to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
