We are currently looking for a Assistant Study Analyst to join a leading company based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the Assistant Study Analyst you will be responsible for undertaking analysis of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical samples. This position would suit a life sciences or chemistry graduate with little experience as training will be provided.


Your duties as the Assistant Study Analyst will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Analyse samples for Formulation & Inhalation Analysis studies under regular supervision from their Line Manager.

2. Develop an understanding of analytical method validation with guidance from senior personnel.

3. Begin to develop experience in analytical techniques and instrumentation with guidance from senior personnel.

4. Accept responsibility for the data produced on assigned studies.

5. Monitor results obtained for assigned studies and discuss results on a daily basis with line manager to ensure that samples requiring confirmation of result are reanalysed in a timely manner.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Assistant Study Analyst we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a life sciences, chemistry or biochemistry related discipline.

2. Any laboratory experience and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) experience would be advantageous, but not necessary as full training is given.

3. You will be expected to demonstrate enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Note: Although not a requirement for the role, having access to your own car would be an advantage in order to reach the facility, as there are limited public transport links in the area.
