We are currently looking for a Scientist - Physical Chemical Method Development to join a leading Drug Discovery company based in the Berkshire area. As the Scientist - Physical Chemical Method Development you will be responsible for using physical chemical methods on a variety of antibody related projects in a cGMP environment.


Your duties as the Scientist - Physical Chemical Method Development will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Method development and method validation of physiochemical assays for biological development projects in a GMP environment.

2. Use of physical chemical methods such as HPLC, UHPLC and UV methods in a drug discovery environment working with antibodies and antibody fragments.

3. Use of immunoassay's such as ELISAs alongside various UHPLC Methods: (UV / FI / CAD detection), Capillary Electrophoresis (CE-SDS), Ion Exchange, SDS-PAGE.

4. Bring experience working on multiple antibody projects in a drug discovery environment where you'll have the ability to actively contribute to exciting new projects.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Scientist - Physical Chemical Method Development we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Scientific field and experience working with Antibodies or Antibody fragments.

2. Proven industry experience over 1 year working with method development, method validation and antibodies.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with physical chemical techniques, HPLC, UPLC, UV methods.
