Hyper Recruitment Solutions are currently searching for a Senior Scientist - Comfirmatory Analysis to join a Leading Life Science Organisation based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the Senior Scientist - Comfirmatory Analysis you will be responsible for the analysis of human samples in order to confirm suspicious findings.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Senior Scientist - Comfirmatory Analysis will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be responsible for performing specialist, confirmatory analysis of human samples using LC and GC-MS / MS.

2. You will be responsible for reporting your findings through the relevant channels within the organisation.

3. You will be required to contribute to problem solving, trouble-shooting, method development and validation tasks.

4. You will be responsible for on-site training and supervision of more junior members of the team.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Scientist - Comfirmatory Analysis we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Chemistry based subject.

2. Proven industry experience in Analytical Chemistry is essential with a knowledge of forensic techniques being highly advantageous.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with HPLC, GC-MS, MS and LC-MS is highly advantageous.
