We are currently looking for a Life Science Account Manager - London to join a fast growing Life Science company with offices across the US, Europe and Asia. This is the prefect opportunity for a Scientist looking for a new challenge outside the lab, or a Junior Commercial candidate looking to progress into a Life Science Account Manager role where you will be responsible for nurturing and growing an exciting and lucrative territory.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Life Science Account Manager - London will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Nurture and develop relationships with existing customers, as well as actively prospecting new business in order to grow your territory and achieve targets.

2. Maintain a good knowledge of the Antibodies, Assays and Kits in order to consult customers and provide effective solutions, with full technical support provided from the wider team.

3. Provide feedback to Marketing and Product development on customer and competitor activities.

4. Arrange and attend trade shows and exhibitions to further build brand awareness, with support from the European team.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Life Science Account Manager - London we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant BSc in a Life Science Subject such as Biology, Immunology or Biotechnology. An MSc or PhD is preferable. A full driving licence is also needed.

2. The ability to demonstrate a high level of professional communication and the confidence to interact with scientists at all levels is essential. Whilst proven industry experience in a Sales, Account Management or Customer Service role within a scientific company is advantageous.

3. A working knowledge and practical lab experience using antibody based techniques such a Flow Cytometry, ELISA Kits or other Immunoassay's.
