We are currently looking for a Cell Line Development Research Associate to join an exciting and pioneering Immuno-Oncology company based in the Cambridgeshire area. You will be contributing to advancing Cell Line Development projects to support the generation of therapeutic biologics.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Cell Line Development Research Associate will be mainly lab based however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will perform stable cell line development projects in timely manner including construction of expression vectors, transfections, selection of clones, maintenance of cell cultures, cryopreservation and cell line clonality.

2. Expression and quantification of recombinant proteins.

3. Liaise and coordinate Cell Line Development projects with Process Development and Process Analytical groups

4. Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, appropriate handling of materials, controlled drug, GxP compliance, where applicable

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Cell Line Development Research Associate we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Science discipline along with experience working within industry.

2. Proven industry experience in Molecular biology skills (PCR, vector construction, Northern blot) and mammalian cell culture techniques.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with automation in cell culture and product analysis (FACS, Octet, BIAcore) is highly desirable.
