Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Development & Compliance Manager to join a leading company based in the West Sussex,West Sussex area. As the Development & Compliance Manager you will be responsible for


Your duties as the Development & Compliance Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

- The role is responsible for managing programs & projects to deliver significant improvements in QC and product sciences with focus on compliance, capabilities, efficiency and throughput
- This will be achieved through line management of Development Scientists & LIMS functions with clear & simple project management


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Development & Compliance Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

Development: Analytical Method

- Set objectives based upon:

oDelivering agreed existing and future programs of QC, Science and business development
oAssessing new technologies to identify and deliver efficiencies in working practices in QC
oImplementation (eg management of sourcing, URS, IQ, OQ, PQ etc), method development & validation and transfer.
oContinuous monitoring of existing technology versus business requirements & regulatory expectations
oManage method development, method validation & QC/site to site transfer with transparent & up to date planning and change control where required

Development: Product

- Set objectives based upon:

oDelivering agreed existing and future programs of Regulatory, Science and business development
oDevelopment, checking and delivery of new formulation calculations & protocols
oContinuous monitoring of existing technology & processes versus business requirements & regulatory expectations

- To manage the performance of the Development team in line with the Company's goals and business needs
- Organise and prioritise workloads and assignments of staff in conjunction QC & Method Development and Production requirements including objective collation, management, tracking and delivery
- Ensuring the effective operation of the laboratory to budget including management of consumable budgets
- Analytical method development/validation tracker maintenance, status updates & prioritisation
- Develop programs to improve laboratory efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prospective CAPEX, equipment review consideration for depreciation
