We are currently looking for a QC Lab Manager to join a Life Sciences company based in the Hampshire area.

As the QC Lab Manager you will be responsible for the planning and checking the analytical workload, taking responsibility for the QC analysts and the overall QC Laboratory.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the QC Lab Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Set stability schedules and balance this against the production and manufacturing needs in a GMP environment.

2. Ensure raw materials are released on time by taking responsibility for bulk testing of manufactured products and finished product testing to balance resources.

3. Manage and follow the out of specification (OOS) and out of trend (OOT) reporting as well as ensuring completion of accurate and thorough deviation investigation reports.

4. Creation of change controls for the maintenance of QC product, component and raw material specifications.

5. Generation, execution and review of equipment validation or method transfer / validation protocols and reports based on company templates.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Lab Manager (Pharmaceuticals) we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Chemistry or related Scientific Discipline.

2. Proven industry experience planning a QC Analytical Lab within the Pharmaceutical Industry.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Finished product or raw material pharmaceutical analysis.
