We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Specialist to join a leading company based in the Kent area. As the Senior Quality Specialist you will be responsible for providing GMP and ISO 13485 advice to the business, whilst ensuring that all products are manufactured and released, are fit for purpose.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Senior Quality Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will drive a Quality culture on-site, ensuring the site remains compliant to the requirements of the sites Quality Systems. (QMS). This will include completing Audits and relaying information to the business, ensuring that following CAPAs are appropriate.

2. You will be responsible for undertaking QA duties, including Investigations, Risk Assessments, Audits, Customer Complaints, Non-Conformances, CAPAs etc.

3. As the Senior Quality Specialist, you will deputise for the Quality Manager in their absence. This will include diarising and arranging QA team members diaries and tasks.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Quality Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Previous experience working within an ISO13485 regulated environment. Other experience within a pharmaceutical environment would be beneficial.

2. Proven industry experience in a Quality Assurance team is essential. Previous leadership or deputy-leadership responsibilities would also be advantageous.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience maintaining a QMS. Auditing experience would be advantageous.
