An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Validation Specialist to join a fast growing and innovative biopharmaceutical company based in Essex. As the Validation Specialist you will be responsible for conducting a range of validation and compliance activities to support the manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Validation Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be responsible for maintaining validation and calibration schedules while liaising with contractors and hold accountability for all non-facility & non-QC related validation activities.

2. Planning and executing validation activities and the creation of validation documentation, along with generating, updating, implementing and ensuring timely execution of the site Validation Master Plan.

3. You will focus on process, cleaning and product validation studies and maintain GMP compliance at all times.

4. Archiving of site validation documentation and completion of validation risk assessments.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Validation Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Biological or Engineering discipline; such as Biotechnology or Biochemical Engineering or another pharmaceutical related subject along with experience working on validation projects, ideally with a pharmaceutical environment.

2. Proven industry experience in validation ideally within a GMP manufacturing environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with process and cleaning validation activities.
