Hyper Recruitment Solutions are currently searching for a Business Development Manager to join a Global Life Science organisation based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth through the generation of new business from Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology companies, looking to outsource drug development work.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Business Development Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be responsible for generating and developing new client relationships and opportunities to sell the companies services.

2. You will be required to present the companies drug development / discovery services in an effective way to prospective clients across your territory.

3. You will be required to utilise the company CRM system in order to identify, qualify, record and track new business opportunities.

4. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, cross functional relationships with operations and support peers within the organisation.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Business Development Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Science related subject such as; Biotechnology, Life Science, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Drug Development is essential with further qualifications beneficial.

2. Proven Business Development experience within the pharmaceutical space is essential with a strong knowledge of drug discovery and development services being highly advantageous.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with pre-clinical services is advantageous.
