Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Full Professor Positions in Polymer/Materials and Computational Chemistry                                                                                                                                    

Young and research-intensive, Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore) is ranked 13th globally. It is also placed 1st amongst the world's best young universities.

The Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry, School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, NTU is currently seeking applications from individuals who have or can establish a strong research program in the following areas:

1) Theoretical/Computational Chemistry

We are seeking candidates who can complement and/or strengthen our division's strength in organic synthesis, material chemistry, biological chemistry, nanoscience and ultrafast laser spectroscopy.

2) Polymer/Materials Chemistry

We are seeking candidates who have expertise in development of new polymerisation methodology / new polymer materials / pai-conjugated materials with interesting and potentially useful properties.

The successful applicants will be expected to develop an independent, internationally recognized research programme, conduct undergraduate and graduate level teaching, and supervise graduate research students. Joint appointment with the School of Biological Sciences or other relevant schools at NTU is possible subjected to the research expertise and vision of the candidates.

All candidates must have a PhD (or equivalent) degree and preferably post-doctoral research experiences. Selection will be based in part on a record of research publications in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals, the ability to obtain extramural funding and the ability to conduct effective teaching at the undergraduate level.  

Salary will commensurate with the candidates' qualifications and experience.
