Hyper Recruitment Solutions (HRS) are currently searching for a Alliance & Business Development Manager to join a global pharmaceutical company based in the South East of England area. As the Alliance & Business Development Manager you will be responsible for facilitating and project managing a broad range of alliances.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Alliance & Business Development Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Support business development, research & development (R&D) and project teams across the business to meet alliance objectives.

2. Partner the business development team to ensure all licensing and collaboration opportunities are maximised.

3. Provide commercial support to the R&D teams for joint venture, licensing and project management alliances.

4. Assume project manager accountability for an alliance portfolio to deliver maximum value.

5. Support and lead the business development and R&D teams through contract renegotiations and amendments.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Alliance & Business Development Manager we are looking to identify a candidate with a broad skillset covering alliance management, business development, licensing and regulatory understanding.

1. Educated to degree level. Ideally with post-graduate business management training.

2. Proven industry experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, generics and/or CRO.

3. Relevant experience in business development and/or commercial/late stage R&D project management. Ideally experience of alliance management.

4. Demonstrated ability to understand complex licensing and similar legal contracts
