An exciting opportunity has become available for a Manufacturing Manager to join an innovative biotechnology company based in the Oxfordshire area. As the Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for overseeing drug product manufacturing projects of significant value to the company on time and with budget.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Manufacturing Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be the company representative and technical lead for the selection and establishment of contracts with third party manufacturers and provide the oversight and liaison with external manufacturers.
2. Responsible for the technical review of master batch records and executed manufacturing documents.

3. Take the technical lead in the resolution of manufacturing deviation event reports along with supporting Drug Substance and Drug Product out of specification and out of trend reports.

4. You will have the opportunity to establish a new team to support your projects as the position grows.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Manufacturing Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Science or Engineering discipline along with experience managing teams and manufacturing projects within the biotechnology field.

2. Proven industry experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing within a GMP environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with out-sourcing manufacturing projects would be highly desirable.
