We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Professional to join the Companion Diagnostics arm of a leading Pharmaceutical Services Company. As the Business Development Manager - Companion Diagnostics you will be responsible for engaging New Partners and Developing Business across the European Pharmaceutical and Biotech markets. This position is available due to growth and can be home based across Western and Central Europe.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Business Development Manager - Companion Diagnostics you will report to the VP of Business Development and your duties will include:

1. Growing the Companion Diagnostics business within the EU Biotech and Pharmaceutical sector by selling our clients Companion Diagnostic Development services. This includes management and expansion of some Key Accounts as well as prospecting new business.

2. Developing and implementing a successful Business Development strategy for the European territory of our clients Companion Diagnostic Business.

3. Cross-functional managing of an internal technical team to ensure projects and proposals are completed accurately and in a timely manner. This team will also use their expertise of Biomarkers, Precision Medicine and Companion Diagnostics to support you when needed.

4. Reporting and feeding back results, market trends and forecasts to management. You will also be contributing to the Business Development plan as a key member of the Global Business Development tea.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Business Development Manager - Companion Diagnostics we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. A BSc in a Science or Business subject such as Life Science, Immunology, Pharmacology or Business Studies is essential - an MSc of PhD is desirable.

2. Proven industry experience developing New Business across Europe within the Life Science, Diagnostics or Pharma field. Experience within a CMO / CRO is beneficial.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience of Precision Medicine, Companion Diagnostics or Biomarkers is very desirable.
