We are currently looking for a QC Tech Transfer Scientist to join a growing life sciences company based in the Essex area. As the QC Tech Transfer Scientist you will be responsible for individual tech transfer projects and analytical testing in coordination with the department. This encompasses both third party vaccine projects, in house development and acquisitions.


Your duties as the QC Tech Transfer Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will have the responsibility for developing and improvement of current QC processes, ensuring equipment are validated and all test results, reports and data reported on time. You will perform testing regimes in recognized time scales to regulatory requirements, customer requirements and GMP.

2. Day to day coordination of the individual analytical development and validation protocols for GMP vaccines.

3. Testing of biological products and raw materials to ensure specifications are met using the following methods:
- Tissue culture
- Microbiological methods

4. Processing of QC deviations and associated CAPA's and investigational work.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Tech Transfer Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree or higher is a related scientific discipline. Prior experience working in a QC laboratory would be desired, but you will be required to demonstrate that you have worked in a regulated life sciences facility.

2. Demonstrable knowledge and experience in analytical methods for GMP biologicals e.g., Immunoassays, gel electrophoresis, ELISA, microbiological methods and tissue culture. This includes method validation experience.

3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills along with excellent report writing skills.
