Hyper Recruitment Solutions are working with a client who currently have a great opportunity for a Study Manager - Crop Protection. The role is with a leading life sciences company which is headquartered in the Cambridgeshire area, however there is flexibility on location and home working for this role across the UK and Europe.

As the Study Manager - Crop Protection you will be responsible for carrying out the role of Study Director for crop protection studies.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Study Manager - Crop Protection will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be responsible for undertaking the role of Study Director for Crop Protection studies, which includes preparing Study Plans and reports, check study plans, data and reports.

2. You will be based in the field, taking ownership on the delivery of crop protection studies. This will involve conducting field operations necessary for the conduct of GLP trials and efficacy trials, maintaining the field facility and machinery in good working condition, and effective liaison with local farmers and growers in order that assigned trials run smoothly.

3. You will be accountable for responding to clients placing projects, establishing client requirements, developing Study Plans, liaising on day-to-day issues and ensuring that communications meet client expectations. This will include providing expert advice on results to colleagues and clients, maintaining awareness of current trends, issues and developments.

4. Assist in the planning of the department's workload ensuring optimum use of staff, equipment and facilities, thereby maximising capacity/productivity.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Study Manager - Crop Protection we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a related life sciences discipline eg. crop protection, agronomy. You will also be expected to have prior experience working in a regulated environment carrying out crop protection studies.

2. A working knowledge and practical experience working as a study director, study manager or project manager. You will need to demonstrate flexibility, organisation and prior experience working in a highly regulated environment (eg. GLP, GMP, GCP and have knowledge of guidelines including COSHH and HASAWA).
