We are currently looking for a Director of Pharmaceutical Operations to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Nottinghamshire area. As the Director of Pharmaceutical Operations you will be responsible for the delivery of compliant manufacturing and testing capabilities, driving significant growth for long term goals.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Director of Pharmaceutical Operations will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. To act as a Study Director on Contract Development and Manufacturing Projects, providing scientific, operational and technical support and leadership for projects and revenue streams.

2. Ensure client expectations are delivered and managed on time and within budget expectations; taking accountability for the on-going GMP compliance of the operational teams.

3. Support Business Development Activities such as proposal writing, costing and client meetings.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Director of Pharmaceutical Operations we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a scientific based discipline or related technical field; e.g. Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering or Biochemistry.

2. Proven industry experience in the pharmaceutical industry within a technical role, with GMP focus.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience within a leadership role in Pharmaceutical Contract Services; either formulation, clinical manufacturing or analytical services.
