Hyper Recruitment Solutions are currently looking for a Pharmacovigilance Officer to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Pharmacovigilance Officer you will be responsible for performing activities relating to pharmacovigilance for all company products, provide training in matters of drug safety & medical/product information and ensure that the company is compliant with relevant MHRA/EU regulations, directives and guidelines.


Your duties as the Pharmacovigilance Officer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

You will record and report all adverse drug reactions relating to company products as per UK/EU requirements whether received from Healthcare Professionals, Competent Authorities, Medical Information or literature sources.

As the Pharmacovigilance Officer you will Assist in the generation and submission of PSURs in line with UK/EU requirements.
You will continuously maintain and enhance the company knowledge base concerning the regulations, directives and guidelines that influence pharmacovigilance requirements and advise on the implications thereof.

As the Pharmacovigilance Officer you will be involved with the registration, transfer, discontinuation and de-registration of patients and Healthcare Professionals involved in the receipt of treatment, in accordance with the SOPs of the Denzapine Monitoring Service.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Pharmacovigilance Officer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. A life science degree or equivalent.

2. Proven pharmaceutical industry experience in EU pharmacovigilance within either a research and development or established products environment.

3. A sound knowledge of applicable EU regulations, directives and guidance and experience working directly with EU agencies.
