An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Facilities Manager to join a Leading Life Science company in the Middlesex area. As the Facilities Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the working environment is maintained and operated, meeting the respective regulations such as Legislative, Environment and Health & Safety. As the Facilities Manager you will manage Facilities services such as Technical services, Mechanical and Electrical contracts, and audits.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Facilities Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Facilities Manager you will manage facilities services such as security, reception, cleaning, catering and M&E contracts.

2. You will conduct facilities inspections and audits (internal & external) as appropriate, ensuring that all regulations are met. This includes Health and Safety, Quality and Energy Management tasks.

3. As the Facilities Manager you will supervise facility refurbishments, renovations and the maintenance and repair of existing facilities and equipment.

4. You will also drive cost saving initiatives to meet the Facilities KPIs.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Facilities Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Proven industry experience in Facilities Management within a large Scientific organisation with a background in managing Laboratories or similar regulated environments.

2. A NEBOSH or IOSH qualification and experience with managing Health and Safety processes and audits.

3. A working knowledge of Chilled Water and Gas Systems.
