We are currently looking for a Process Improvement Lead to join a leading Pharmaceutical Company based in the Buckinghamshire area. As the Process Improvement Lead you will be apart of the Company's QC Laboratory Support Group where you will be involved in Laboratory Improvements such as Equipment Upgrade and Validation.


Your duties as the Process Improvement Lead within a QC environment will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Comply with SOPs, GMP, EHS procedures and corporate policies as well as maintaining all documentation, training records and up to date H&S assessments (e.g. Manual Handling, COSHH and Risk Assessments).

2. Liaise with several departments (e.g. Technical Support, QA, Regulatory, R&D, Production) to drive project completion with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously.

3. To assist Lab Leads with Equipment Validation ensuring all Data Integrity aspects are covered as well as assisting with manufacturing issues in relation to QC testing.

4. Lead complex Investigations for out of trend results to find root causes and raise appropriate CAPA actions.

5. Coordinate Stability Tests of labs and review results, ensuring they are in line with GMP requirements.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Process Improvement Lead we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Life Sciences (e.g. Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry etc.) in addition to Industry experience.

2. Proven industry experience in a Quality Control environment with an excellent understanding of Laboratory Testing

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with GMP standards, Protocol and Report writing skills.

4. SAP knowledge and understanding of Pharmaceutical regulations will be advantageous.
