We currently have a great opportunity available for a Senior Scientist - Bioanalysis to join a leading company based in the Cambridgeshire area.


Your duties as the Senior Scientist - Bioanalysis will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be involved in the development, validation and application of bioanalytical methods. The majority of the methods developed are for the quantitative analyses of drugs, biomarkers and clinical markers in biological fluids, predominately urine and blood, using LC-MS/MS technology.

2. The Bioanalytical Sciences Group provides a well-equipped laboratory and the opportunity to work with state of the art analytical instrumentation. It is registered as GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) compliant.

3. You will oversee client projects from the establishment and development of methods, through the validation stage and on to its use in pre-clinical or clinical studies.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Scientist - Bioanalysis we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a chemistry, biochemistry or analytical chemistry related discipline, plus additional relevant experience.

2. Good understanding and working experience of mass spectrometry, UPLC and bioanalytical extraction techniques, including carrying out method development, validation, sample analysis and trouble-shooting problematic methods.

3. Previous Study Director and/or supervisory experience in a regulated environment, specifically GLP or GCP.
