Lecturer/Senior Lecturer - Analytical Chemistry
The School of Science seeks candidates who have completed a PhD in analytical chemistry with a preference for organic analytical chemistry, and have an established high quality research record with the potential to build and lead research programmes and gain external funding. Ideally you will be an early career academic who can engage actively in a number of research groups in the Faculty, including the Environmental Research Institute, as part of your research work.
You will show a commitment to excellence in teaching and will be expected to contribute to the design and delivery of the undergraduate teaching programme in the areas of analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry and organic chemistry.
The School has an excellent suite of instrumentation available (http://sci.waikato.ac.nz/research/facilities/chemical-services) and demonstrated hands on experience with one or more of these instruments is essential.
Current salary range for Lecturers is NZ$69,379 to $84,706 per year and for Senior Lecturers (Range 1) is NZ$86,840 to $102,528 per year.
