We are currently looking for a Analytical Chemist (Radiochemistry) to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the County Armagh area. As the Analytical Chemist (Radiochemistry) you will be responsible for performing and monitoring analytical duties within the radiochemistry team.


Your duties as the Analytical Chemist (Radiochemistry) will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Develop, transfer and validate analytical methods in support of manufacture of radio-labelled API projects.

2. Undertake routine chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediates and products according to set procedures and methods to GMP standards.

3. Maintain records of all analytical work carried out on incoming materials, intermediates, products and monitor the systems in place within the Laboratory to ensure that procedures are being followed.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Analytical Chemist (Radiochemistry) we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. A degree in a related chemistry discipline (i.e. Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry), alongside experience working with radiolabelled pharmaceuticals.

2. Proven commercial GMP drug substance analytical laboratory experience with analytical method development and method validation of HPLC.

3. Experience of performing stability analysis would be advantageous.
