PhD and MSc Places - Academic year 2017/18
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Warwick, UK expects to appoint around 60 funded and self-funded PhD and MSc students in the academic year 2017/18 in the following areas:
- Analytical Science and Instrumentation (MSc courses also available)
- Chemical Biology
- Interfaces and Materials
- Polymer Science (MSc courses also available)
- Synthesis and Catalysis
- Theory and Simulation
For PhD study, you will have the equivalent of a UK 2.1 degree or higher in Chemistry or a related Science. Significant research or industrial experience or strong postgraduate qualifications will also be taken into account. http://www.warwick.ac.uk/chemistry/masters/
For taught MSc study in Analytical Science or Polymer Chemistry, you will have the equivalent of a UK 2.2 Degree or higher in Chemistry, or an appropriate related subject. http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/chemistry/masters/
The department is also involved with a number of sponsored Centres for Doctoral Training.

Exceptional international candidates for PhD study can apply for this competitive scholarship scheme. Successful applicants normally have the equivalent of a UK First Class Degree and other indications of excellent performance, such as a publications record or the award of prizes or scholarships.
