We are currently looking for a Product Manager - Chemicals to join a leading company based in the London area. As the Product Manager - Chemicals you will be responsible for the support of the International Product Manager in creating and executing the business and commercial strategy in the Pharmaceutical business group.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Product Manager - Chemicals will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will support the International Product Manager in the execution of the business and commercial strategy

2. You will analyse key performance metrics and review year to date sales versus budget and report on any variance.

3. As the Product Manager - Chemicals, you will liaise with the sales team to create forecasts and follow up and close quotations to the sales teams.

4. You will become part of the international Regulated Synthesis team, assuming responsibility for special projects as they arise. You will occasionally travel, primarily in Europe.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Product Manager - Chemicals Synthesis we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a life science subject, preferably Chemistry or a Pharmaceutical science

2. Proven industry experience in the Speciality Chemicals industry, preferably within a commercial function, such as sales, account management or business development.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Speciality Chemicals and an understanding of the market is highly desirable.
